Earlier this week, while I was photographing the Vizslas of Encino at our secret location at a Los Angeles area beach, we ran into Kathleen and her pointer Brigadier Hawkeye.

Svenja, the Vizslas of Encino's owner, sees Kathleen all the time at the dunes. They swap information and on this day I was lucky enough to meet both Kathleen and Brigadier.

Brig is gorgeous. He's all speckly with a beautiful brown face. And he really can point!

I took a few photos of Brigadier with the Vizslas and a few of Brig solo. You know, just because he was such a beauty.

Well, Kathleen took my card -- embarrassingly, Svenja had to give her the ones she carries because I didn't have my camera bag that morning -- and by the time I got home, Kathleen had emailed me.

I'm happy to report that we will be shooting Kathleen's guy AND her other furbaby, Kokomo, a really handsome Siamese cat next month. I can't wait!
