Kriser's All Natural Pet Store in Studio City celebrated its fifth anniversary on March 21 and we were honored to be the photographer of the event. Any owner that wanted their dog to be photographed got a free shoot and print (my assistant Vicki was in the back with a small printer with a tiny screen trying to pick the best images -- not an easy task).

Vicki took a tally and figured I photographed 95 dogs! All I know is I shot more than 3,000 images of all of the dogs and who knows how many pooches that was but I can tell you it was a lot! There was a lot of activity going on at the celebration and it's a wonder we got such good images. Lots of noise, lots of distractions, lots of smells (and you know how dogs like smells) with every thing happening all around the dogs.

So here is just a small sampling of the images. It really was a blast photographing so many dogs. And you probably already know that by the end of the day I was -- wait for it -- dog tired.
