Changing My Name --- Vintage Pet Portraiture

Feb 21, 2018 | By: Diana Lundin

Oh okay, not really. But when you see this image, of course you're going to think it's not modern pet portraiture, it's vintage. My client Mary dressed up her super cute dog Chewbacca in the kind of old-time sailor's outfit boys would wear at the turn of the last century. And she wore a black lace dress not out of place in the same time period. She wanted it to look vintage.

I translated that into an old tintype and ta-da! Not much more to say except I think we nailed the concept!

I love when my clients have an idea in mind they want to execute. Thanks, Mary and Chewy!
