Now why would you?

Your dog is gorgeous and you want to show off that gorgeousness. Pearls? Yes, please! A cat in a hoodie? Why, I think so! Show off your pet's beauty and personality. Clothes make the man... er, mastiff.

You wouldn't find me as the No. 1 person to dress up a pet. I could barely get collars on my cats, let alone an outfit. But I realize pet owners do want to dress up their pets... and the pets like it! OK, not sure that most love it but some of those little dogs would feel absolutely naked without their clothing. You all know Lisa Vanderpump's Giggy (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), who suffers from alopecia. That's why she began dressing him up and I'm pretty sure he has a bigger closet than I do.

And when I photographed cats in clothing for the Sophos calendar, we put clothes on cats all day long and most of them didn't seem to mind.
